In this post, I’m going to tell you all about the super-popular VTuber group “Hololive”!
By the way, do you know what a VTuber is?
It’s a portmanteau of “virtual” and “YouTuber.” Simply put, it refers to people who link their own facial expressions and movements to a character on their livestream screen to create livestreams and upload videos.
There are currently over 10,000 VTubers in total, and amid this highly competitive landscape, the VTuber agency we’re introducing today—Hololive—stands head and shoulders above the rest!
Many figures have already been announced, and companies like Good Smile Company and Kotobukiya are also putting a lot of effort into producing them.

This is Gawr Gura from Hololive ENGLISH.
Currently, their YouTube subscriber count is surging past that of Kizuna Ai—a pioneer in the VTuber world—and is fast approaching 4 million!
As you can probably tell from this costume, this character is based on a shark. 🦈
By the way, the hood is removable!

This is Flare Shiranui, a member of Hololive's third generation!
As you can see, she’s sort of a brown-skinned elf older sister character.
Elves and bows and arrows are a perfect match—it makes you want to have them strike all kinds of poses (*´艸`*)♡
It even comes with some stylish eyeglass accessories!
Next up is POP UP PARADE!
This is also Pekora Usada, a member of Hololive's third generation!
As you can see, this character is rabbit-themed and is known for ending her sentences with “peko” ᕱ⑅ᕱ
You've got carrots tucked away all over the place—in your hair, your pockets, and everywhere else, haven't you? 🥕
Don't you think the bunny outfit and tights are portrayed really well?
Next up are scale figures!
This is Aqua Minato, a member of Hololive's second generation!
Unlike my previous outfits, there’s a reason why this one has so many frills—it’s the special costume I wore for my first live concert!
The dynamic movement of her hair and dress is beautifully captured, and it looks like she might just come running toward us at any moment (*´艸`*)
By the way, she’s not the only one performing live—in fact, everyone in Hololive is active as an idol!
It's a complete contrast to the livestream—it's absolutely awesome, so be sure to check it out!
It looks like Kotobukiya is currently hard at work producing scale figures of the second generation of Hololive members, so let's look forward to those as well!
