The latest addition to the Metal Action series is God Phoenix from Tatsunoko Productions' masterpiece animation "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman," appearing in a new anime color version.
The simple yet distinctive design that hints at the future is reproduced using an abundance of die-casting, and various gimmicks seen in the movie are also built in.
In addition to being able to store the G Mecha that the members ride in inside the main body, the bird missile launchers on the top and bottom of the fuselage can be popped up at the touch of a button, and the air intake can be opened and closed by sliding, and the G-2 storage section can be attached to the normal nose and converted into an openable gimmick style.
It also comes with a variety of other gimmicks, such as a reproduction of the landing gear and the G-5 when the G-Mecha is not stored... and also comes with all the G-Mecha miniatures for storage, as well as a Red Impulse fighter!
A display stand for displaying them is also included.
Additionally, it comes with an acrylic stand featuring the "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman" logo!
