In 2017, the masterpiece "30cm Godzilla 2016" was released as a garage kit by Yuji Sakai Modeling Studio.
Then, in 2019, in response to passionate requests from many fans, he created and released the "Godzilla (2016) 4th Form Awakened Ver." as a garage kit.
This time, using the same prototype as the garage kit, it will be released as a pre-painted soft vinyl finished product.
This work is a stunning recreation by Sakai of the famous scene from "Shin Godzilla" (released in 2016) in which Godzilla comes under aerial attack during Operation Yashiori at the end of the story, and emits heat rays from its mouth and the tip of its tail.
Each part of the statue has been intricately sculpted in detail, such as the tail that extends upward in a large arc, and the lower jaw that is split open to the left and right, a characteristic of the awakened state, resulting in a level of perfection that makes it seem as if it were taken from a scene in the movie.

This time too, his cast prototype was converted into wax and a master mold was created.
