"Godzilla (1993) Brave Figure in the Suzuka Mountains" is now available as part of the "Yuji Sakai Sculpture Collection," a soft vinyl series sculpted and produced by Yuji Sakai!
"Godzilla (1993) Brave Figure in the Suzuka Mountains" was released as a garage kit in 2018 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Yuji Sakai Modeling Studio.
This time, using the same prototype as the garage kit, this work will join Yuji Sakai's popular series "Yuji Sakai Sculpture Collection" and be released as a pre-painted soft vinyl finished product.
In this work, Yuji Sakai has beautifully recreated the famous scene from the film "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" (released in 1993), in which Godzilla looks cool with his tail raised high in the Suzuka mountains, threatening Mechagodzilla.
The distinctive features of Godzilla (1993), such as his long legs and fearless face, have been accurately recreated, making it appear as if the figure has jumped out of the movie.
When the work was announced, Sakai traveled around his local area to search for and photograph backgrounds that were similar to the image in the movie, and he even created a diorama in front of Godzilla himself to create the packaging that matches the image in the movie, showing the depth of his dedication and passion for his work.

"The Brave Figure in the Suzuka Mountains" shows Godzilla standing majestically, glaring at his nemesis Mechagodzilla before him.
Please enjoy the beauty of this masterpiece, which expresses that electrifying charm to the fullest.
This time too, his cast prototype was converted into wax and a master mold was created.
The products are made using materials molded solely from the master mold, minimizing wear and tear caused by turning them into soft vinyl and focusing on reproducing detail as much as possible.
