Kaiyodo 1/350 scale Tower of the Sun soft vinyl painted finished model [resale]
Product description (quoted from manufacturer)
Super best-selling product!!
This 1/350 scale Tower of the Sun has been reproduced over and over again. We have not yet been able to deliver it to all customers who need it. We are also seeing an increase in repurchases from people who already own it, so it is a super long-selling item that continues to sell well.
A painted, finished product, the Tower of the Sun, was produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Japan World Expo. This giant monument, the face of the Expo and a symbol of Japan's period of rapid economic growth, is released as a hobby item. The golden face is gold-plated. There are few three-dimensional models that accurately reproduce the joint between the back of the face and the main body, making it a valuable resource. The Tower of the Sun has a strong character and is highly regarded as Taro Okamoto's "work of art." This product is not only attractive as a hobby product, but also has sufficient quality as an interior item. The roughness of the surface and other details are carefully crafted to express Taro Okamoto's worldview, which combines softness and hardness. The "golden face" representing the "future" is injection molded and gold-plated. The mold in the face and the lightning rod are precisely reproduced. The "central face" on the front torso represents the "present." The beautiful curves of the face are faithfully expressed. The red lightning running along the side of the face gives a strong impact to the viewer. The "black face" on the back, which represents the "past," has a unique presence. The body is made of soft vinyl. The face and base are ABS injection molded to accentuate the intricacy.
