Product description (quoted from manufacturer)

The Thompson M1/M1A1 is a World War II-era US military submachine gun that fires the same .45 caliber bullet as the Government pistol.

The inventor was former US Army general John Thompson. Having witnessed the fierce trench warfare of World War I, he felt the need for a single-person handheld machine gun that could lay down a barrage of bullets at close range, something he could call a "trench broom," and so he developed the Thompson submachine gun series. The M1/M1A1 model was the most produced in the series, and is characterized by its structure that was thoroughly designed for mass production. It was adopted by the military in 1942 and was equipped by non-commissioned officers, tank crew members, paratroopers, and scouts.
This gun, which has been used in many movies and works, has been precisely recreated in a 1/12 scale kit. The wood and metal parts are reproduced in two molding colors. The magazine can be selected from 20 or 30 rounds.

Choose from two types of magazines

Parts division is reproduced as much as possible based on the structure of the real gun.

Bolt can be opened or closed by selecting the receiver.
