Product description (quoted from manufacturer)
●Here are the highlights●
○Productization of the Amagasaki City Fire Department's ambulance
○Collect them together with the early TLV crowns
The second-generation Toyopet Crown, which appeared in 1962, was available in light van and wagon body styles, with the vans registered as commercial vehicles called the Masterline and the wagons treated as passenger cars called the Crown Custom, and the vehicle names were also differentiated. A major change was made in 1965 when the front was extended to accommodate a 6-cylinder engine. After minor exterior changes in the autumn of the following year, the Masterline name was dropped in 1967 as the new generation changed.
This time, TLV will be producing the 1966 Masterline ambulance model.
The body is stylish, with an extended rear overhang for the luggage compartment based on the second-generation Crown, and the thin, long roof is also attractive. This time, we will be showcasing the fire ambulance that was used by the Amagasaki City Fire Department at the time. Please also pay attention to the red letters that say "Fire ambulance."
The early model S40 Crown sedan on which it was based was one of the earliest TLV products (LV-03, released in January 2004). This is a car that allows you to reflect on the changes in TLV and miniature cars over the past 20 years.
