Although the Bongo Brawny is a commercial vehicle that prioritizes practicality, its plain boxy body style has led to it being reconsidered in recent years as a base vehicle for stylish renovation cars. In 1999, the model was changed to the second generation, but the basic design remained largely unchanged from the first generation that appeared in 1983, and it was produced for a long period until 2010. Compared to rival models, it had a longer luggage space, was available as a part-time 4WD, and was inexpensive, so it was widely introduced to corporations and government agencies.
The TLV-NEO is a commercialization of the low-floor (single rear tire) vehicle that was released after the model change in 1999. The left sliding door and rear gate can be opened and closed, allowing for a variety of play possibilities, such as enjoying the scenery or imagining its use as a commercial vehicle.
