Kaiyodo Chasing Fighter Secutor Full Color Version KT-031 Takeya Style Freely Operated Figurine
Product description (quoted from manufacturer)
The full-action skeleton swordsman is joined by a powerful ancient Roman pursuit warrior!
"Takeya Style Free-Flying Figurines" is a series designed and produced by Takayuki Takeya. The third installment of the ongoing full-action "Skeleton" series is here!
The new equipment that the skeleton will wear is that of a gladiator, a strong warrior who fought in the arenas of ancient Rome to entertain the masses. Gladiators are classified according to their physique, weapons, and fighting style, and Takayuki Takeya has designed and sculpted two representative types of gladiators.
The Pursuer Warrior Secutor is a gladiator that evolved from the Fish Helmet Warrior Murmillo, characterized by the flashy helmet shape. He is equipped with a simple helmet with only holes for both eyes, a metal shoulder pad on the right side that is attached to his body with a leather belt, and large metal shin guards on both legs, giving him a distinctive style that is more practical. He is sculpted to look like he is fighting with a double-edged dagger gladius and a large shield Cetratus, with well-worn metal representations.
Unlike the popular Japanese-style skeleton warriors, this item features a distinctive style equipped with rugged weapons and armor from the ancient Roman era. Furthermore, because it is equipped by a skeleton, it also exudes the sadness of a gladiator who was captured as a slave and fought in the arena while feeling unwilling to do so.
The skeleton body is a renewed version that has been upgraded by placing newly developed 4mm joints at all joints. The joints are stronger, and even though the limbs are thin, it is possible to hold weapons stably, making it easier to play with.
●All of the gladiator's equipment can be removed, so it is possible to display just the skeleton body. Under the helmet is a skull with a sunken head and missing teeth. A pedestal is also included that allows you to stand the figure stably while posing it.
In addition to the basic equipment, the dagger Gladius and the oval shield Cetratus, the long sword Spatha is also included. Each piece of equipment has scratches and dents from use, and a faded, dull metallic texture that matches the skeleton style.
