Product description (quoted from manufacturer)

The fifth installment in Kaiyodo's Revoltech action creature figure series!

The majestic form of the giraffe-toothed stag beetle, the largest species of stag beetle, is reproduced as closely as possible with movement.
- The characteristic large jaws open and close in unison on both sides, and by moving the neck and chest it is possible to create a variety of expressions, such as a threatening pose or a pose where the bear is obediently licking sap.
The forewings are interchangeable with the deployed state to prioritize the "armored" feel of the closed state, and the structure that allows the forewings to open by bending the chest joint, just like the real thing, has also been reproduced.
- The large, extended hind wings also flex, giving the appearance of being in flight; by attaching it to the included base you can enjoy watching the giant stag beetle fly.

[Giraffe Stag Beetle]

A giant jet-black stag beetle native to South Asia. It is famous as the largest stag beetle in the world, with specimens currently found measuring over 118 mm in length.
Its long mandibles are not curved like those of the Japanese stag beetle, but extend straight, so they resemble a giraffe's neck and were given the name giraffa (meaning giraffe).
It is widely distributed from Nepal and India to the islands of Southeast Asia, and the population on and around Flores Island is known for its impressive large jaws and the largest size.
Like Japanese stag beetles, adults are attracted to tree sap, but since the trees that produce sap are scattered, population densities are not high.
Stag beetles are considered to be skilled flyers among stag beetles, and can fly from far away following the smell of tree sap.
