The Hino TC-type ladder fire truck has been popular throughout history, having been produced by Tomica as the 29-2 "Hino ladder fire truck (released in 1975, out of production as of 2024)" and remaining a hit for a long time afterwards.
In TLV-NEO, it was commercialized in 2009 and received a great response as a rare 1/64 scale large fire truck at the time. In addition to its size of 150mm in length and 390mm in height (when the ladder is extended), it also attracted attention for its fun movement, incorporating the same actions as the real vehicle, such as ladders, turntables, and outriggers.
A new version of the Hino TC343 ladder fire truck, remembered as a masterpiece in the TLV-NEO series, will be released. This time, the motif is the vehicle that was active at the Mie Kihoku Fire Department (Owase City, Mie Prefecture), and the back of the cabin with sliding doors and multiple siren speakers have been newly manufactured to reproduce the actual vehicle as much as possible. The pinstripes on the body, which are different from the two existing types, are also attractive. Accessories such as two firefighter figures, wheel chocks, and outrigger floor plates are also included to enhance the sense of realism.
