[About AUG type]
The AUG is an automatic rifle developed in Austria in the 1970s, the early days of the bullpup rifle. The bullpup structure, which combines the length and compactness of the barrel by housing the mechanism in the part equivalent to the stock, was being researched and developed in various countries at the time, but the AUG incorporates the features of lightweight construction and the use of plastic parts. The module can be changed to a machine gun type or submachine gun type by replacing it according to the application, and it can be easily replaced in the event of a malfunction. This design, which was designed with the use as a military gun in mind, gave it the name "Armee Universal Gewehr = Army General-Purpose Rifle."
The kit reproduces the basic military model AUG A1 with a built-in scope and 20-inch barrel. It features an OD receiver and clear magazine.
