The RZ250, released in 1980, was developed as a culmination of Yamaha's two-stroke technology amid increasingly strict environmental regulations. It became a huge hit, completely changing the trend in a market that was shifting to four-strokes, and it is a motorcycle that has enjoyed high popularity since its release, leading to the later boom in racer replicas.
The shape and presence of the bike have been faithfully reproduced, including the water-cooled 2-cylinder engine developed for the TZ250/350 production racer, the Monocross rear suspension which was the first on a production road sports model, and the bold styling by the GK Industrial Design Institute.
In addition, the tank and frame are made from die-cast, giving them a high-quality feel and texture.
This is a finished model with excellent cost performance.
