From the long-running anime series "Mobile Police Patlabor" comes the experimental prototype labor "Griffon" made by Shaft Enterprises, part of ThreeZero's "Robo-Dou" series!
"Robo-dou Griffon" is a 1/35 scale (total height approx. 24.4cm) movable figure made of ABS, PVC, POM, zinc alloy die-cast and cloth. The zinc alloy die-cast is used for the movable frame, which allows for a total of about 60 movable points on the whole body.
Fabric is used for the elbows, waist, hips, and knee covers to recreate the silhouette of a griffon while still allowing for movement. In addition, threezero's specialty weathering paint is applied to the fabric for an even more realistic look.
"Robo-dou Griffin" is also equipped with various gimmicks that improve playability. To expose the cockpit, the upper half of the chest part can be lifted up, and the abdomen hatch can also be deployed forward. The pilot seat can be exposed by removing the internal block, and the included pilot figure "Badrinath Harchand" (non-movable) can be seated there. In addition, the head part of the Griffin can be lifted up along with the collar part to see inside the cockpit.
The characteristic giant wings have four movable points on each side, allowing for a variety of poses. Even if you pose the wings boldly, the weight of the zinc alloy die-cast frame of the legs means that the balance will not be easily lost.
Also included are four pairs of interchangeable wrist parts with different poses and a Robo-Dou action stand.
