The second-generation Toyopet Crown, which appeared in 1962, was available in light van and wagon body styles, with the vans registered as commercial vehicles being called Masterline and the wagons treated as passenger cars being called Crown Custom, with different names for each vehicle. A major change in 1965 was the extension of the front section to accommodate the installation of a 6-cylinder engine. The exterior was also slightly altered the following autumn, and the Masterline name was dropped in 1967 with the change of generation.
This time, TLV will be producing the late model S40 series, which was the last Masterline.
This time, TLV will produce the last Masterline S40 series late model light van. The body is based on the second generation Crown, with an extended rear overhang for the luggage compartment, making it stylish, and the thin, long roof is also attractive. This time, we will develop the patrol car specifications that were used by the Metropolitan Police Department at the time.
The early model S40 Crown sedan on which this model was based was one of the earliest TLV products (LV-03, released in January 2004). This car will make you think about the evolution of TLV and miniature cars.
