Product description (quoted from manufacturer)
A cute "Mini Police Car"!
Daihatsu Midget DSA patrol car is here!
Introduced in 1957, the Daihatsu Midget was the first mass-produced light three-wheeled truck.
With a low price comparable to that of a two-wheeled vehicle and the mobility that allowed it to drive, make deliveries, and collect payments all at once, it became an explosive hit, and was said to be the car that changed the way retail stores were conducted in Japan.
It has also left its mark in history in terms of marketing, with the catchphrase "City Helicopter" which was based on its appearance, and comical TV commercials.
The MP type with a round handle was introduced in 1959, but the original bar-handle type was sold as a cheaper version until 1962.
TLV released the Midget DSA model in 2007, which was a bar handlebar specification with side doors that was added in 1959, but this time it will be released in a new specification for the first time in a long time.
This time, we are recreating an actual patrol car that was in use at Koshien Police Station in the 1950s.
The actual car was nicknamed the "Mini Police Car" because of its adorable appearance.
It reproduces the unique small yet two-tone black and white appearance, as well as the speakers mounted on the roof.
This is a unit with outstanding presence.
