Product description (quoted from manufacturer)
Welcome to the deep sea world...
Even today, the deep sea remains largely unknown territory.
Countless people have wished to reach this level of wonder, and various "diving suits" that embody that spirit of inquiry have been turned into action figures by Takeya-shiki Jizai Okimono!
The title is "VINTAGE DIVING SUITS COLLECTION."
The first release is a reproduction of the diving suit developed by the Carmagnole brothers in France in the 1880s, with a heavy, solid paint job. Its unique form and design, which was based on the assumption that a human would actually be inside it, make it seem like the ancestor of powered suits. The 20 lenses located on the head are made of clear parts, creating an attractive shape. While each joint has a simple structure, we have recreated the image of multiple overlapping parts interlocking in a complex manner. The metallic weight and rugged product feel of the diving suit, yet its somewhat adorable design, give it a universal appeal. The included stand allows for museum-style display.
